Higrade Mine

AKA: Higrade Group

This group of claims was a later discovery in comparison to other mines in Nevada. The USGS lists the year of discovery as 1957. The group was discovered by individuals named Sainbury and R.J. Claus. The primary commodity was Flourine-Flourite. The property was drilled by the Union Carbide Ore Company in the late 1950's and mined afterwards.

Last Trip/ Road Conditions: October 2021. If memory serves me right, this was a four-wheel drive or offroad vehicle type of a road.
