Newtonville

I obviously can't take credit for finding this place, as it's clear that others have been here in modern times. With that said, I think that I am the first in modern times to give it a name. I perused modern resource after resource and never found one single line dedicated to this place. While perusing an old article from an 1864 newspaper about another camp, it vaguely mentioned that this new camp was being laid out. A couple more brief articles were then located from 1864. After that, it completely disappeared from the papers. I followed the vague directions provided in the 1864 news articles and it led to this location. Honestly, because of how I stumbled across its existence, it is one of the more rewarding camps that I've been to.

As of April 2026, my third book is in editing through Alan Patera at Western Places. The tiny history of this camp will be included.
